Bootin' Rick Tuten Likes Him Some Bargains

When an undercover Marion County, Florida, sheriff told former Seahawks punter Rick Tuten yesterday that she had two stolen TVs to sell him, Tuten had this classic reply: "I don't know nothin' about nothin'."

Can someone get this guy into a Humphrey Bogart movie?

Anyway, then the fun started:

[Tuten] agreed to purchase the TV’s for $600. The TV’s, new and still in the original boxes, had a total value of $1,500.

The TV’s were delivered to the suspect at his home, at which time he paid cash for the TV’s. The suspect was taken into custody and gave consent for Detectives to search his property.
What they found was a stolen ATV they suspected Tuten of buying. He was arrested and charged with two counts of dealing in stolen property.

Tuten played for the Hawks from '91-'97, going to the Pro Bowl in 1994. Tuten set a team record for punts in a season in 1992 with 108, it's also the third-most punts in NFL history.
