Great article in this morning's P-I...it brought back memories of the days when only us hard-core sports geeks would show up at the Kingdome: sitting there pathetically with our parents (or the parents of friends), holding a soda in a plastic cup with the Kingdome and all the Seattle pro sports teams drawn on it, and anxiously waiting for a home run ball so the ship in center field would rise up and fire off the ear-splitting cannon. Thank God for Griffey (and Lou and Edgar)!
