I wrote a column last month for the P-I suggesting, among other things, that the M's need to come up with some cool music for when Ichiro bats. My suggestion was "Ode to Joy," but I just got an email from KJR's Mike Gastineau (The Gas Man), who has a much better idea letting me know that this is Ichiro's at-bat music, and it's pretty cool.
It's a YouTube video (that's a screen cap above), but I'm not allowed to embed it--you've gotta check it out, though. The problem is that the M's aren't showing this video on the JumboTron--all the flashing lights and people throwing their clothes in the air, and that dude in the Panama hat strutting around the stage with a jacket and no shirt--that's going to get the crowd truly fired up.

I'd buy season tickets for the simple joy of watching a clip of that video 4 times a game.
The Beat Crusaders' "Hit in the USA" is an unintentional theme song. The chorus goes "I was made to hit in America," apparently an Engrish attempt to mean "I was made to be A hit in America." Check it out on the YouTube.
