Bring Tank Home!

The Cowboys were considering signing Tank Johnson when his suspension is up at the end of October, and they're super considering it now that nose tackle Jason Ferguson is out for the year.

The Seahawks also have a DT out for the year, Marcus Tubbs. The Hawks need a run stopper, so why not sign the former Husky who never crossed the law (as far as I've ever heard) when he was at UW.

Obviously about Seattle keeps Johnson from getting into trouble--the plethora of local twee bands, perhaps?

And after jettisoning noted troublemakers Darrell Jackson and Jeremy Stevens, and acquiring "character guys" like Patrick Kerney and Deion Branch, surely the Hawks can afford to take on a guy with a few gun charges in his past.

If Edgerrin James, who had 92 yards against the Niners last week, runs wild on the Hawks Sunday, it may be time to get t-shirts printed up.

Hmm... I don't dislike the idea. But, I believe the Seahawks' front office is way too focused on being a high-character organization (whatever exactly that means) to take a chance on Tank. I sure would hate to see him with a big blue star on his head, though.
