Let's Go Tear Down the Goalposts!!! Huskies Knock USC Out of #1! And Receive Vote!

After the Huskies lost by just three points against USC, the Trojans are #2 in the AP poll.

They're behind LSU by only 1 first place vote (33 to 32) and only two points in the AP poll scoring system (1,593 to 1,591).

I think it's fair to say that Roy Lewis' punt block, which let the Huskies get within single digits, probably changed at least one vote. Roy Lewis himself may have knocked the Trojans from the heights.

Cal moved to #3, opening up the very exciting possibility that USC/Cal on November 10th could be #2 vs. #3, or, should LSU lose, #1 vs. #2. Whoa!

Ohio State moves up to #4, so the Huskies have played the #2 and #4 teams in the past three weeks. Yowza.

In other Pac-10 news, Oregon drops from #11 to #14 after losing to Cal, Arizona State moves up to #18 after shitcanning Stanford.

UCLA got 49 votes (29th) and the Huskies, apparently impressing someone with their play against USC, received a single vote. Go Dawgs!
