So that's what Clay Bennett said at his press conference today, according to KIRO.
Storm fans (and, presumably, Storm players) will be happy to hear that the team will stay there one more year.
Obviously, Bennett wants to get out of his Key Arena lease. The city has bound itself via Council fiat not to let him out of it. Jim Brunner of the Times had a good look at whether the city can actually bind him to the lease last month.
Bennett also said he'll talk to the Muckleshoots about their offer to give the Sonics land for a new arena.
Meanwhile, longtime stadium foe Chris Van Dyk and Save our Sonics founder Brian Robinson sketched out a plan to keep the Sonics at the Center.
