Your Guide to Not Getting Caught at Some Shitty Party During a Game 7

The baseball postseason is upon us, and it is smart to know when and when not to make plans. That Saturday night party you blithely agree to attend with your girlfriend could end up being the same time as, say, a Game 7 between the Yankees and Red Sox--and we all know, that once you agree to something, "But, baby, now there's a big game that day!" is not going to cut it as an excuse.

Invoke whatever underhanded tactics you must to keep the following dates free (all Games 5-7 are if necc., obviously).

Wed., Oct. 3: Game 1 of both NLDS and one ALDS series.
Thur., Oct. 4: Game 1 of the other ALDS series.
Tues., Oct. 9: Game 5 of both/either NLDS.
Wed., Oct. 10: Game 5 of both/either ALDS.
Thurs., Oct. 11: Game 1 of the NLCS.
Fri., Oct. 12: Game 1 of the ALCS.
Sat., Oct. 20: Game 7 of the NLCS (also, Game 6 of ALCS).
Sun., Oct. 21: Game 7 of the ALCS.
Wed., Oct. 24: Game 1 of the World Series.
Mon., Oct. 29: Game 5 of the World Series.
Wed., Oct. 31: Game 6 of the World Series.
Thu., Nov. 1: Game 7 of the World Series.

Here is the full baseball playoff schedule.
