Honey, Why Don't You Go See If Kevin's Home?

Seattle's parents need worry no longer about day care. Kevin Durant has stepped into the breach. The kids in Durant's Mercer Island neighborhood have been dropping by, and Durant doesn't mind one bit. He tells Percy Allen of the Times:

It's not a problem to me if they come over. If a little kid wants to play video games, they can come over. I really wouldn't mind.

I like the kids. I don't think they know I've got video games. If they came over and it's cool with their parents and they live on my street, then they can come over.
Any chance the Sonics can go out and find some guys a little closer to Durant's age? Not sure whether I like the idea of the Durant's friends having the same average age as Michael Jackson's.

I read about this in the Times yesterday. Kevin Durant seems like a cool guy, and it's sad that he and the rest of the up and coming Sonics won't be around for long.
