Husky Secondary Depth Gets Deeper, Jaily-er: Murchison Back With Team

Husky DB Jordan Murchison, who'd been suspended from the Husky football team because of a felony assault charge and a separate domestic violence charge, is back with the team, reports Don Ruiz of TNT:

Coach Tyrone Willingham said that cornerback Jordan Murchison is back to "full participation with our football team," effective yesterday.

Murchison's legal problems resolved to some degree when he agreed to "deferred prosecution" regarding his domestic violence charge from June in King County. That means that if he meets certain stipulations over the next two years, the charge will be dismissed.

Murchison also received the technical sentence of one year in jail for a different assault charge, however that was reduced to two days of time already served.
Murchison's return comes at a good time, as starting free safety Jason Wells suffered what's said to be a serious knee injury against SC.

We're going to need all the help we can get in the coming weeks. I think Arizona State and Oregon both like passing the football. I think they might even be good at it.
