Pac-10 Basketball TV Schedule Kinda Screws Local Coug Fans

The Pac-10 released its 2007-08 men's b-ball TV schedule yesterday.

Wazzu fans, might want to put in a call to Comcast now, because two Coug games--including the Gonzaga game--are scheduled for ESPNU, which, to my knowledge, Comcast doesn't carry anywhere in Western Washington.

As you'll see, Wazzu's basketball ascendancy over UW hasn't escaped the notice of the TV execs. The Cougs have 11 guaranteed telecasts, which the Dawgs have only 5. Also, ABC will show at least one Wazzu game, while the Dawgs' telecasts are all on lame ol' FSN.

Important: These are not the only games that will be televised. Each Pac-10 school will, separately, arrange telecasts with local cable stations--in our case, Fox Sports Northwest.

Still, here are games that will definitely be on TV. All times are PST.

Washington:
Sat., 12/1 @ Oklahoma State, 2:30pm, ESPN (part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series).
Sat., 1/19 vs. Oregon State, 3pm, FSN.
Sat., 1/26 @ Arizona, 1pm, FSN.
Sun., 2/10 vs. UCLA, 1:30pm, FSN.
Sat., 2/23 vs. ASU, 3pm, FSN.
Sat., 3/1 @ Cal, 1pm, FSN (maybe, FSN will pick on 2/18 between this and two other games).
Sat., 3/8 vs. Wazzu (also a maybe, time and network TBA on 2/25 if they choose it).

*The Huskies would also definitely be on TV if they make the NIT Semis (11/21) or Finals (11/23).
