Rockies Sweeping Firsts, M's So Sad

--The Rockies are the first team to sweep a division series and a championship series.

--The Rockies are only the second team to sweep two postseason series in a row. The other was the 1976 Cincinnati Reds, who swept Philly in the NLCS and the Yankees in the World Series. Since MLB went to divisional play in 1969, they are the only team to go through an entire postseason undefeated.

--With the Rockies having made their first World Series, there are now only four MLB franchises that haven't made one: The M's, Rangers, Nationals, and Devil Rays.
