Curt Schilling released a list of the thirteen major league teams he'd be willing to play for next year. Seattle's not on it. Schilling's criteria, from his blog:
The list represents the teams after Boston that have some of the off the field things that are big to us, plus the potential to go into October next year.As you can see, there are four West Coast teams on the list, so it ain't a travel issue. There are three cold-weather teams on the list, so it's not that.
Cleveland, Detroit, Anaheim, New York Mets, Philadelphia, Atlanta, L.A., S.D., Arizona, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis, Milwaukee
Honestly, are the M's so unappealing on the field that Schilling would rather go to Cleveland?
