The papers are talking about a "collapse" and "lethargy" and "not playing with intensity", but when a team that's as bad defensively as the Sonics shoots 34%, this is the kind of score you get.
I don't see how you can call it lethargy, the Sonics jumped out to an 8-1 lead, they forced 14 steals in the game...they just couldn't score.
Kevin Durant has his lowest scoring game as a pro, scoring only 10. 10 was also his low last year in Texas, in a December 10 win over LSU.
Jeff Green had another nice game, he's averaged 16 points the past three games.
Luke Ridnour seemed to lose a little ground in the point guard battle, going only 15 minutes. Then again, P.J. Carlesimo may have been saving him for tonight. Turns out he injured a quad and didn't play in the second half.
The Sonics play again tonight, in Miami, at 4:30pm, the game's on FSN.
