Steve Kelley Won't Be Appearing on Project Runway

In a piece on Tia Jackson, the Huskies' new women's basketball coach, Times sports columnist Steve Kelley writes:

"Sitting in an office inside Hec Ed early one morning last week, Jackson, 35, dressed fashionably in a Huskies-purple sweat suit, talked about the great influences in her burgeoning coaching career."

Wait, what? Did that...yeah, it did say "dressed fashionably in a Huskies-purple sweat suit."

Let's be clear: There is nothing fashionable about a sweat suit (not on a 35-year-old woman, anyway) and there is nothing fashionable about purple.

Put them together and you've got an outfit of such unfashionable proportions it would cause that one What Not to Wear host to shriek. And the woman host wouldn't like it much either.

If Steve Kelley considers a purple sweat suit fashionable, what in God's name is he wearing? Stained khakis and a Cosby sweater? Jorts and a Big Johnson t-shirt? The mind boggles.
