Tony Harris Baby Fund

If you followed the heart-wrenching tale of former Garfield/Wazzu basketball star Tony Harris' disappearance and eventual death--made all the more agonizing by the fact that Harris' wife was eight months pregnant--you may have been wondering whether there was way to contribute money to the family. At least I was.

Turns out there is. You can donate money to the "Baby Harris/Friend of Lori Harris Fund" at any U.S Bank branch. You can also donate to an athletic scholarship being set up in Harris' name.

There will be a memorial service for Harris at 11am on Friday at the River of Life Fellowship Church, 10615 SE 216th St. in Kent.
