The Dawgs won this game with a crazy scoring burst in the first half. After having scored only 6 points by the 12:47 mark of the first half, they poured in 32 points in the next ten minutes, taking a 16-point lead.
These are the old run and gun Huskies. It's good to have them back.
The Eagles cut into the lead a bit with Adris "2 Hard 2 Guard" DeLeon, the NYC streetballer who I told you about Friday, scored eight points in less than a minute--he emoted toward the Husky crowd after hitting a three pointer.
The lead went from 24 all the way down to 9, but all the wackiness ceased when Jon Brockman and Venoy Overton came back in the game.
The Dawgs next play Wednesday, at 4pm, at Madison Square Garden, against Texas A&M.
