Ty Willingham will coach the Huskies in 2008, reports Bob Condotta via "a source." He'll have his regular end-of-season press conference today at 2pm.
I highly recommend reading the Dawgman football message board for the rest of the afternoon, it should be extremely entertaining.
Just a sample:
"Have fun with Ty, maybe I'll check a box score or two as we have our 6th straight losing season and Ty puts the 15,000 people in Husky stadium to sleep all season long with the crap he tries to pass off as Husky Football."
For what it's worth, I was on record before the season saying the Dawgs should keep Willingham even if the team had gone 0-13, and tried to argue in opposition of the "Jim Mora Project" in a column in October.

Great, now we have to go into ANOTHER season of having a chance to win every game. We also have to deal with Willingham and his staff having ANOTHER year to develop Locker into the kind of QB Isaiah Stanback was his senior year, when everybody in the Pac-10 was scared to play Washington because they had a playmaking QB who could win a game by himself.
Terrible.
Do people remember what we thought of this team in September, how little talent we saw on this team, and how badly we expected these guys to do?
I had fully prepared myself for a winless Husky season before things got underway.
Now he's gotten 4 of the top HS recruits in the state and the talent level in Montlake is rising. Give him a chance with at least a semi-talented roster.
7-5 in '08 or he's gone
unless people stay away from the stadium in droves
which I don't see happening because Jake is there and will only be better next year
