In advance of today's Hawks game, I argue that Shaun Alexander's gotten sort of a raw deal due to the timing of his career, but that he can win Hawks fans back with a great performance in this year's playoffs.

I would argue that Shaun just isn't that likeable. He's always come off as really focused on individual acomplishments more than winning. He did make a great combo with the great line the Hawks had back in the day.
Is Kerney the new Shaun?
He's getting all this national love now (2nd for D player of the year??), yet I know very few Hawks fans who think he's a difference maker on the defense like Ju-Pete or Lofa are.
