Memphis 81, Gonzaga 73 [ESPN highlights]: The Zags hung tough with Memphis, but every time they got close the Tigers would pull away. They were deadly when they ran, getting 21 points on fast-breaks off of turnovers.
Arizona 84, Washington 69: My thoughts.
Washington State 56, Arizona State 55 [ESPN]: ASU's fab frosh James Harden seemed to have been fouled on a drive at the buzzer, but the refs didn't call anything, and Wazzu held onto a one-point lead. Furious ASU fans tossed water bottles at the court, a few of which hit Cougar players.
USC 95, Oregon 86 [ESPN]: After Oregon came back from being nine points down with 1:26 to and tied the game on a Bryce Taylor lay-in, there was a five minute delay after someone inadvertently sounded the horn. SC seemed to regroup after that, and scored the first nine points of the overtime. The second half and OT were played at an insane pace: in the last 25 minutes of basketball the two teams combined for 136 points.
UCLA 85, Oregon St. 62 [ESPN] Oregon St. was down only 4 points after the first half, but UCLA went on a 17-1 run to start the second. Darren Collison had a career-high 33 points. Kevin Love had 21 boards and 16 points.
