Ex-Mariner Adam Jones was very diplomatic about his trade to the Orioles, pointing out that he'd been traded for a Cy Young candidate, saying he wished the M's good luck, etc, etc.
His mom, however, is out for revenge. The P-I's Jim Moore asked Andrea Bradley what her plans were when Jones's Orioles come to Safeco. Said she:
I'm going to be on the Baltimore side, sitting there with a big-ass sign that says, 'Told you so.' They had a genius out there in my baby. But it's past tense. When it comes time for them to play each other, I want Adam to smash it so I can say, 'See what y'all gave away?'I feel that it was the lack of rabid support like this that prevented me from becoming a major league player. That, and my total inability to hit once the pitchers started throwing faster than 40 mph.
If you want to come out to see Bradley's sign, the Orioles visit Safeco April 22-24.

*sniff*, adam jones' mom must really love him.
*sniff*...my mom never taunted my previous employers by gettin' all up in their faces with a 'big-ass' sign. Maybe I should run away and move in with the joneses. *sniff*
