OSU's Sammie Stroughter Will Play in '08

Sammie Stroughter, who was a 3rd-Team All-American in 2006, missed all but two games in 2007 with a variety of medical and personal problems. He applied to the NCAA for a fifth year of eligibility, and today he got it.

In '06, Stroughter was a terror, with 1296 yards receiving and a 17.5 per-catch average. His best game was (predicatably) at Washington--future Seahawks killer Matt Moore connected with him on 7 catches for 223 yards in a 27-17 Beavers win.

With two 100-yard receiving games in '07, Stroughter's had 90 or more receiving yards in nine of his last eleven college games.
