So--this magazine I started working on about a month ago, Sports Northwest, is on the streets. The first issue has a price tag on it, but it's mostly going to be available free at sports bars. (If you want to know where to get it, email me and tell me where you are and I can let you know what the closest few places are).
Also, a bunch of people in red t-shirts are handing it out around Safeco Field today.
You can also read the digital edition of the magazine. (It may take a few secs to load).
There's a nice mix of fun stuff in the front, and meaty features in the back:
--Geoff Baker wrote about Erik Bedard's hometown of Navan, Ontario
--Howie Stalwick interviewed Brandon Roy, Craig Ehlo and others about their NCAA tourney experiences (B-Roy still hasn't forgotten that tech he picked up).
--Norm Charlton admits to the Gas Man that he purposely plunked a girl in Little League (and he doesn't sound contrite about it).
Next month, it will be on newsstands, there will be a website, and you'll be able to subscribe.

Congratulations! I know it must have required an incredible amount of work. I'm looking forward to reading it.
I'm in the LFP area, where can I find it?
Dr. Dawg, the closest is probably Tiger's at 143rd & Greenwood. By the way, if there are any places near you you think should have it, please let me know.

Congratulations!
I know this is a reach, but I'm guessing I'll have to subscribe to get it over here in the Palouse...
I love the digital version. I'm a bit too far away to pick up the print edition, so the digital is just like reading the real thing.
Well done.
