Colorado 4, Mariners 1 [ESPN]: King Felix pitched five scoreless innings as the M's nursed a 1-0 lead (courtesy of Richie Sexson's first spring homer) but the bullpen (Brodie Downs and Putz) lost it. Ichiro went hitless, he's now 0-21 this spring. After the game he told reporters: "To tell you the truth, some of this is kind of fun."
M's 6-8. Today vs. Milwaukee, 1:05.
Indiana 114, Sonics 107 [ESPN]: Mike Dunleavy Jr. scored 32 points in 37 minutes, which I didn't think possible--but he's actually scored 30 points seven times this year. Not too shabby. Durant continues to make strides--most rookies get worse this time of year, but he's getting better. Last night he had 27 points on 7-14 shooting. He's shooting 49% from the field this month.
Sonics 16-48. Next game tonight @ Boston.
Blazers 105, Minnesota 94 [ESPN]: With the Blazers up 1 with six minutes left, Brandon Roy took over. He had five points and two assists in a 10-0 run that put the game away. After going 3-9 without James Jones, the Blazers are 4-3 with him.
Blazers 34-31, 6 GB of 8th playoff spot. Next game Thursday @ Sacramento.
Portland St. 72, Idaho St. 61 [ESPN]: Former UW assistant Ken Bone and his #1-seeded PSU Vikings are one win away from the tourney after hitting nine threes in a semifinal win.
Big Sky Championship tonight vs. #2-seed Northern Arizona.
