Charlotte 93, Blazers 85 [ESPN]: An embarrassing home loss for the Blazers; they gone into a mental freefall since Brandon Roy went down with a groin injury. Nate McMillan basically accused his team of not trying.
Blazers 38-36. Next game Wednesday @ LA Lakers.
Cubs 4, Mariners 2 [ESPN]: Jarrod Washburn looked good in his final spring outing. So did Richie Sexson, who ripped a Ryan Dempster fastball to left for an RBI single in the third. Ichiro dropped a flyball.
M's off today. Monday vs. Texas.
Oregon State 8, Washington 1; Oregon State 2, Washington 1 (10) [Corvallis Gazette Times]: The Beavers' pitching had been terrible coming into this game, but the Dawgs managed only two runs in 19 innings.
Washington 0-2 in Pac-10, 16-9 overall. Oregon State 2-0 in Pac-10, 13-7 overall. Today at 2pm (the game's on FSN).
UCLA 76, Xavier 57 [ESPN]: Xavier had no answer for Kevin Love, who scored 19 points and had 10 boards. Balls that he did board he managed to keep alive for others to snag (pretty impressive for a guy who can't jump).
North Carolina 83, Louisville 73 [ESPN]: UNC cleans up the East regional having won all four of their games by ten or more points. Of course, all four were essentially home games. Tyler Hansbrough had 28 points and 12 boards. Him and Love could meet in the final, which would be interesting.
Kelowna 4, Thunderbirds 3 [WHL]: After tying the game with just 29 seconds left, the T-Birds succumbed in OT at Kelowna. This sets up a game seven in the first round playoff series, it'll be Tuesday (4/1) at 7:05 at Key Arena. Tickets to that game ($14-22) will go on sale Monday.
