Clay Bennett Really Ought to Just Use the Phone From Now On

Caught: Clay Bennett, in an email, two days before he bought the Sonics, describing how if the city agreed to build him an arena, he'd make a "sweet flip" to get another team and move it to Oklahoma City.

It's part of Howard Schultz' lawsuit against Bennett, meant to demonstrate that Bennett never intended to keep the team in Seattle, so he was defrauding the Schultz group, and ought to return the team.

Just when you think we're screwed, this thing just keeps getting legs. The fact that the NBA's board of directors vote to relocate the Sonics only has a one year shelf life also seems to be a huge benefit (surprised that's not getting more play in the media).
