Monday's M's game was very cold and boring, and the actual highlight was when this high school kid behind me recounted a funny Family Guy scene.
Until RA Dickey came on to pitch.
People who were about to leave stopped leaving, I decided to settle in for one more inning, and it got me thinking about how fascinating the knuckleball is.
So I wrote about it.
This story includes probably the funniest thing I've ever heard on a baseball broadcast. It does not include, as my friend Frank points out, the fact that RA Dickey lacks some arm ligament, but, to be honest, I'd forgotten that.
