A Note to NFL Scouts Who Simply Have No One to Draft

Check this video of Louis Rankin, running 40 yards in four seconds flat in the UW-Syracuse game (check the game clock in the upper-right hand corner, which turns just as he gets to the 40-yard-line).



I realize that Rankin has a running start here. Then again, he's also wearing full pads, which guys don't do when they are running at a combine. The guy has football speed, and got 1294 yards behind an iffy offensive line. If an NFL team is looking for a value pick, they could do worse than Rankin.
