Kenny Mayne Tonight @ Elliott Bay Books

ESPN anchor and Seattle (well, Kent) kid Kenny Mayne will be reading from and signing his stream-of-consciousness autobiography, An Incomplete and Inaccurate History of Sport, tonight at 7:30 at Elliott Bay.

I read the book a couple of weeks ago for a piece on Mayne in the June issue of the magazine, and I thought it was pretty entertaining--especially for anyone who's a big Seattle fan. Much of the book is made up of Mayne's memories of growing up in the Seattle area, going to Longacres, Key Arena, the Kingdome--especially Key Arena.

Basically it's a big long conversation, as if they just sat Mayne down with a tape recorder and said, "Go."
