If you are liberal and easily offended, get ready to speed dial Progressive Talk 1090, because M's security supposedly ejected a lesbian couple for kissing.
One-half of the lesbian couple, Sirbina Guerrero, took her story to KOMO-TV--though it can't have been much of a struggle whether to keep news of the incident private.
Guerrero was recently a contestant on MTV's A Shot at Love II with Tia Tequila, "a bisexual-themed reality dating show where 15 straight males and 15 lesbian female contestants live in Tila's house and compete for her attention and affection," according to Wiki. (She was eliminated from the competition two weeks ago).
Guerrero has parlayed her "celebrity" into an appearance on the cover of D List, a lifestyle magazine aimed at Belltown types.
Now, it's entirely possible that this went down just as Guerrero says--that she gave her girlfriend a peck, inflaming the prejudices of some intolerant het and her security guard enabler. If so, shame on the security guard, and we hope the Mariners--who say that their security guards would never target same-sex couples--will handle this situation in the same classy way that the Dodgers did.
But, consider this: We're supposed to believe that a reality TV star, one of a show in which she's competing with 29 other people for a lay, was being modest in public? I'm more likely to believe that Raul Ibanez is a great defensive outfielder.
