Let's just go back to the old Rose Bowl system--I couldn't care less about seeing my team in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl or any of the other BCS bowls, plus the rivalry between the Big 10 and Pac 10 provides for some meaningful matchups. The BCS hasn't given us an indisputable national champ or even the best matchups. The arguments are going to continue to rage after the bowl games are played either way, so why not have the Pac 10 and Big 10 keep the granddaddy of them all to themselves?

If the Big Televen and Pac-10 bail on the BCS, it'll just marginalize them. Some ACC or SEC school will hoist a crysal football and USC, Michigan or OSU will be 'Rose Bowl Champs'.

Motherfucker. Why are these old ass white guys so intent on maintaining the status quo? Everyone else in the entire universe knows that the status quo as it pertains to the bowl system sucks harder than a Dyson. College football is the highest stakes sport in the country on a game-to-game basis during the regular season and then bowl season rolls around and without fail I get all Pacman Jones-in-a-strip club aggravated from thinking about how great it would be if there were a playoff system. Shouldn't these guys be in Florida playing golf or bridge instead of ruining college football for the average fan?
